Delivery and Installation Policy

At Pharos Solar Group, we are committed to providing seamless delivery and installation services for all our solar products. This policy outlines the process, costs, timelines, and responsibilities associated with the delivery and installation of products purchased through our online store.

1. Delivery Areas

We currently offer delivery across South Africa. Certain remote or outlying areas may experience longer delivery times, and additional charges may apply. We will inform you of any restrictions or additional costs before processing your order.

2. Delivery Costs

  • Standard Delivery: Delivery costs will be calculated at checkout based on your location and the size/weight of the products. We strive to keep these costs as low as possible while ensuring safe and reliable transport.

  • Free Delivery: We offer free delivery on orders exceeding a specified amount (as detailed on our website). This offer may vary based on promotions and product ranges.

  • Additional Fees: Remote area surcharges may apply for deliveries to locations that are difficult to access.
     

3. Delivery Times

  • Order Processing: Orders are processed within 1-3 business days after payment confirmation.

  • Estimated Delivery Time: The standard delivery time is between 3-7 business days, depending on your location. Delivery times may vary during peak seasons or due to unforeseen circumstances.

  • Tracking: Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number to monitor the progress of your delivery.
     

4. Delivery Process

  • Address Details: Ensure that your delivery address is accurate and complete when placing your order. Incorrect or incomplete addresses may result in delays or additional charges for redelivery.

  • Receiving the Delivery: Someone must be available at the delivery address to receive and sign for the goods. If no one is available, our courier will contact you to arrange redelivery or collection from a depot.

  • Damage or Shortages: Please inspect your delivery upon arrival. If you notice any damage to the packaging or items, or if there are any shortages, report this to us within 48 hours to ensure we can address the issue promptly.
     

5. Installation Services


We offer installation services for most solar products purchased through our online store. Installation is carried out by certified, third-party contractors in partnership with Pharos Solar.

  • Booking Installation: Once your order is confirmed, we will contact you to schedule the installation. We aim to arrange installations within 7-14 business days after delivery.

  • Installation Costs: Installation fees are quoted separately and depend on the scope of the project. The fees will be communicated to you before installation begins.

  • Pre-Installation Requirements: Please ensure that the installation site is ready and accessible. Any preparatory work (e.g., roofing adjustments or electrical preparations) should be completed before the scheduled installation date. Pharos Solar is not responsible for delays caused by site unpreparedness.

  • Warranty: All installations come with a standard workmanship warranty, the details of which will be provided upon installation completion.
     

6. Rescheduling or Cancellation
 

  • Delivery Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule your delivery, please contact us at least 24 hours before the scheduled delivery date. Failure to do so may result in additional charges.

  • Installation Rescheduling: Installation appointments can be rescheduled without penalty if notice is provided at least 48 hours in advance. Last-minute cancellations or rescheduling may incur additional charges.

  • Order Cancellation: Orders can be cancelled before dispatch for a full refund. If your order has already been dispatched or delivered, you may be responsible for return shipping costs, and restocking fees may apply (see our Returns Policy for more details).
     

7. Exceptions and Limitations
 

  • Out-of-Stock Items: In the rare case that an item is out of stock after your order is placed, we will notify you immediately and provide alternative options, including waiting for restock, selecting a similar product, or processing a refund.

  • Force Majeure: Pharos Solar is not liable for any delivery or installation delays caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, strikes, or transportation disruptions.
